Marie Rusbatch-Dawson
Marie has worked as a potter since 1971, currently producing a range of studio pottery in Waikari, North Canterbury.
She has spent many years teaching pottery for most of the pottery groups in Christchurch, including the Polytechnic, and has been involved in committees, arranging teaching schools, and helping to organise the Christchurch Convention.
For fifteen years Marie was a member with the Mainly Pots co-operative in Redcliffs, Christchurch; this has since closed. She is currently a member of the New Zealand Society of Potters Workshop in the Arts Centre, and has been since its inception in 1997.
