Liz Petrie
Being brought up on a farm in Swannanoa, North Canterbury (where she has returned to live), has given Liz a strong connection with the land and a desire and inspiration to express this through her paintings.
Her landscapes are strong and vivid. She paints in both a representational and a semi- abstract style, enjoying the journey of change and evolution her artwork takes her on.
Her works are in private collections in America, Europe and Australia, as well as in New Zealand.
Liz's works can be found at Heart of Art and Arts en Vogue, Christchurch, Bonz Gallery, Queenstown, JAKS, Main Street, Oxford, Cream and Clover, High Street, Rangiora, The Rocking Frog, Waikari and King and Teppett Gallery, Palmerston North.
