Selwyn Gallery
The Selwyn Gallery, Darfield, is comprised of two galleries; a large exhibition space and a retail gallery where beautiful, more affordable items are available for purchase.
Established in 1998 by the Malvern Community Arts Council, the Selwyn Gallery presents the works of established artists as well as emerging, contemporary artists. This philosophy sits well with the MCAC which aims to provide an opportunity for the community to exhibit as well as experience some of New Zealand's best art.
The atmosphere of the Gallery is welcoming and intimate and is looked after by a team of dedicated volunteers. Most of the exhibitions run for four weeks. A programme of exhibitions can be viewed at the website www.selwyngallery.co.nz
