Artistic Flowers Gallery and Gift Shop.
We would like to extend the invitation to any artists, art or craft teachers and groups, who may be interested in utilizing some of our gallery, giftshop and craft venue space.

The space is the only venue on Main South Road for art exhibitions, and the signage by the road will soon be featuring Hornby Arts Venue.

Artistic Flowers has been the name associated with this venue since we opened in November 2016, and we have a giftshop area contained within, and a full florist service is carried out here for weddings, which is extending into workshops etc as demand is there, and during school holidays.

The 145 sq mtre ground floor venue has lots of natural lighting, three entrances and basic kitchen area / coffee as well as toilet facilities. The premises is fine for those with mobility scooters, but the toilet is not unfortunately.

people are familiar with this area having an arts and craft style business operating here, which has been popular but which is not operating from any premises from May. We have a very busy art teacher here currently, booked in until November 2017, and whose paintings have been selling well from here as well.

The price is very negotiable, and any enquiries are most welcome as the layout of the premises is quite flexible. Promotion of your art exhibition or groups using this space, on the exterior of the building is welcome, and a full time sales assistant, and all merchant services are available at very little, or no charge in most circumstances. promotion is also included through the art networks we belong too, and through our website and social media page Artistic Flowers Gallery and Florist

I am on the Steering committee for New Zealand's involvement in a worldwide botanical art exhibition which will be held in 2018 at the Auckland Botanic Gardens. It's the brainchild of the American Society of Botanical Artists and so far 13 countries have signed up to hold their own exhibition, with at least 5 more considering it.

There has been a resurgence in botanical art over the last 10+ years and this juried exhibition will really help push this niche genre into the public domain and give exposure to the many very talented botanical artists we have in NZ. We would love to think artists in your area would submit some work for consideration!

Art Studios for lease.

I am looking at maintaining the lease of the 34 Battersea Street Studios in Sydenham in the long term, and I am seeking expressions of interest in studios currently available for either shared rental (2 to 3 artists) or 1 artist.   Depending on the size of the studio and number occupying it, rent varies from $41 per week to $46 per week to $60 per week and up to $140 per week (plus electricity).   Currently there are 10 artists occupying 8 studios.  Would you be pleased to forward this message on to anyone who may be interested in taking on a studio.   Expressions of interest are requested by email as below.  Thanks in advance.

Kind regards

Dr. Warren Feeney
