Rewa Rendall is a Christchurch-based wet plate photographer and contemporary photographic alchemist, crafting portraits by hand using 19th-century collodion techniques inside the historic Kinsey’s Den & Darkroom at Ferrymead Heritage Park.
In the very space once used by Antarctic explorers Scott and Shackleton, Rewa transforms light and silver into timeless artworks — each image a unique plate revealing depth, character, and spirit.
