I was taught to paint in oils by Pearl Daniels in the early 1970’s. Since then I have had periods where I didn’t paint at all – too busy earning a living as they say. My proudest moment? Placing second in the Royal Overseas League Commonwealth Art Contest in July 1984. The judge was Doris Lusk so I was humbled by that. But now I want to paint more, working in acrylic. I particularly love architectural and structural subjects. I’ve done commission work in the past and I’m open to it now.
