About
I was born in Beijing, China, and I have had a passion for painting since I was a child. I have studied both sketching and traditional Chinese fine brushwork painting.
In 1996, I moved to New Zealand, where I have had various jobs. Later, I pursued studies in architectural design at Ara, and now I work as an architectural designer.
Painting, for me, is as appealing as designing architecture. I enjoy using colours to express my understanding of people and things, my inner emotions, and my aspirations for the future.
