While Debbie usually finds herself planting flowers, picking flowers, embroidering flowers, and helping her florist daughter with wedding flowers, she has recently immersed herself in a new passion for painting flowers over the past couple of years. She cannot get enough of it. Debbie typically uses acrylic paint in a layering effect, sometimes adding a medium to achieve the desired thickness. She gets most of her painting inspiration from the garden, in particular hydrangeas.
Additionally, she has done many embroidery works on photographs, deriving great joy from this art form. Debbie embroideres on vintage, wedding, graduation, and anniversary photos, creating everlasting heirloom pieces for her customers, which brings her so much pleasure.
