About
Federica has a lifetime of artistic expression, primarily exploring oil and watercolour mediums. Originally from a small town near Venice, Italy, she attended art school at university and graduated from the Academy of Fine Art in Venice with a Bachelor of Fine Art in Painting and Visual Art. Her passion for art eventually led her to tattoo and body art. As a tattoo artist, she has found a unique way to bring her passion for realism and colour to this form of art. In recent years, she has focused more on painting and expanding her artistic horizons beyond tattooing.
At the start of 2025, she established Blank Canvas Studio, a collective of other artists, in the Tannery.
Having lived in Christchurch for 11 years, she now aims to share her art with the public and pursue a career aligned with her original studies. Federica draws inspiration from nature and the art of life drawing, believing her soul is expressed through her work. She is grateful to share her art with the world.
