About
The Studio is my sacred space where I explore the narrative of my dream and waking life through painting the emotional landscape.
I often begin this painting practise in the early morning, with the company of candle light and song of the first bird call; the transcendence of the shadows and emerging light and the balm of that exquisite stillness.
The Earth is my muse that constantly inspires hope and grounding in this everchanging world, the significance of the Moon Cycles also informs my work.
Being a painter is an adventurous exploration of colour and mediums to create depth and atmosphere, the work is sometimes flowing, joyful and surprising, sometimes stagnant and tormenting; though whatever is unfolding, it is a chance for mystery to be expressed and to personally deepen into Spirit.
