I like to think I am a bit of a minimalist; I prefer to omit things and paint with a close eye on colours, on balance and a bit of quirk.
Over the years Karin has been fascinated by the absolutely wonderful world of the more Gestural: Abstract Expressionism. Experimenting with anything that lends itself, bold moves adjacent to careful ones, colour explosions paired with more empty, quieter spaces.
