About
I have been fascinated by textiles for many years; the colours, textures, patterns, and the interplay between these.
I recently began to weave and have been exploring these aspects from a creator’s point-of-view as opposed to an observer’s point-of-view. Fine natural yarns – cotton, silk (of various types) and wool – are my preference to work with.
My inspiration comes from nature and also from travelling to regions where textiles have been produced for hundreds of years eg Kashmir & West Bengal, India and Laos.
