About
I began working with watercolour as a child at art school in Moscow, where I also learned to value every pigment like treasure. I later studied at the Institute of Design and Technology and have continued painting ever since.
Watercolour remains my passion—its delicacy, unpredictability, and layering process still fascinate me. I’ve been a member of Watercolour New Zealand since 2020, regularly exhibiting and connecting with other artists. In 2021, I received the People’s Choice Award in an online show, and in 2025, I was honoured with a Patron’s Prize at the 50 Year Splash.
With over 30 years of personal practice, I’m passionate not only about painting, but also about inspiring others to discover the joy of watercolour.
