Lindsay has only been painting since April 2024. He is a retired Telecom electronics Technician. He has always been interested in photography and has had the good fortune to have been able to visit 65 different countries around the world including Antarctica which largely consists of rock, snow and ice but it has a beauty of its own which he thought he would like to record in a painting. So in April 2024 he started painting with watercolour but soon changed to Acrylic due to not being able to paint light over dark. He enjoyed Acrylic but thinks the paintings look a bit flat so changed to oil. In particular he likes painting scenes, mountains or something with a mountain background but anything is interesting. So far he has been copying photographs only.
