The structured, flat brushwork and neat drafting represent order, intentionality, and our desire to organise the physical world. In contrast, the surrounding splatters and textured pointillism embody nature’s unpredictability, time’s forward rush, and the untamable life force around us.
Lisa Hong’s artistic foundation began in tertiary education, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture. However, a major turning point occurred while working in Korea, where an immersive search for personal passion led to the dedicated study of painting, illustration, and anime.
