Aka Absconditus Creations, Nikki was destined to live amongst the weird and wonderful after falling into the world on a Friday 13th back in 1983. Growing up with a pencil in hand and fueled by a bizarre imagination, creating became a necessity to stay sane, or close to.
Nikki has been exhibiting sporadically for a number of years both locally within Canterbury and at group shows throughout New Zealand and has acquired a dedicated following of likeminded art enthusiasts, with her art in private and public collections nationally and further afield.
She enjoys experimenting and pushing the boundaries with her artwork, from large framed pieces to her small characters. She is currently on an illustration journey, for the young, young at heart, and the slightly twisted.
Commissions are welcome, studio visits by appointment.
