About
A self-taught painter since 2004 with multi-awards over the years. My works are held in private collections throughout New Zealand and Overseas.
I was originally involved in the fashion design industry in Europe. My passion for the drawing of detailed figures and clothing coupled with fantastic visual experiences of historic paintings and statues overseas grew my painting passion immensely.
Work is primarily acrylic on board creating a series of finely detailed figurative layered works.
New Zealand’s rich history involving my ancestors’ stories including ‘The Harriet Affair’, has been a huge influence in my depictions of true people and historic events.
