Currently my art practice is concerned with questioning our experience of being human, what it is to share space whilst negotiating mutual, different, or clashing culture – not just Ethnicity, but personal culture and traditions, beliefs, customs, values and perspectives. I wonder about the cumulative knowledge and history formed over generations of connection.
I am interested in the form these curiosities take when expressed through wood, metals, plaster, solder, ceramics, found objects, and paint on canvas and wood. I enjoy the contrast, collision and harmony of the materials that result.
