Motivated by my love for colour, people, and diverse artistic movements, I see Trāpo as a reflection of how experimentation can transform a blank canvas into a work of art.
With a background in Industrial Design, I approach my work methodically while also embracing spontaneity and allowing unconscious influences to shape my creations. Although most of my pieces are paintings, I have recently ventured into sculpture with timber and sheet metal.
My time spent hiking in the mountains often inspires me to incorporate elements of nature such as birds, into both my sculpture and acrylic paintings. I draw inspiration from fellow artists, whether they are established or emerging, especially in their use of alternative mediums. I enjoy working with spray paint, a technique I embraced during my street art days in Argentina, appreciating its efficiency and immediacy.
I hope Trāpo grows in Canterbeauty -as I like to call this wonderful region- , and inspires others not only to acquire art for their homes but also to explore their own artistic expression, as it serves as a wonderful grounding channel.
