Tricia Hewlett aims to protect our critters one artwork at a time.
She is a full-time artist living and working on Hinewai Reserve, Banks Peninsula, where she is surrounded by the wildlife of Aotearoa.
Tricia’s studio in Otanerito Bay is open for visitors by appointment where they are served a free cuppa and get to meet the kakariki as well as whichever native birds choose to call by that day.
She runs art classes and workshops at her spacious studio as well as other venues. Check out her website for Graphite Classes, Fun Art Workshops in a range of media, School Holiday art classes, Artists’ Bird Photography Workshops, and special one-off events.
Tricia has a degree in Expressive Arts and Marketing from Massey University and many years of experience teaching from community to tertiary levels. She is passionate about sharing her love of creating art.
