About
I am a self-taught artist and would have loved to have gone to art school, but life got in the way. I have been drawing, painting and sculpting since I was very young and have undertaken exhibitions both here in New Zealand, and the UK where I lived for 20 years.
I find myself drawn towards the use of vibrant colours and humour. Taking inspiration from nature, real life observations and objects I have found, my passion is to turn these into something artistic. I am passionately committed to daydreaming, and it is during this time that I create and design my next project, painting, or subject matter. My work is primarily the result of my need to be creative. It is both a challenge and an outlet; a discipline and a passion.
