Lakeland Art Gallery is situated in the heart of Leeston’s High Street and just a 45 minute drive from Christchurch or Ashburton.
We show a good range of contemporary and traditional art works, in many mediums, from local and the wider Canterbury arts community. Our gallery is the home of the Ellesmere Art Group and managed by volunteers.
We have a tutor room as part of our gallery and host a Wednesday Art group, life drawing sessions and tutorial workshops in a variety of mediums. We have good parking with easy access and wheelchair access.
Opening hours are Tuesday – Sunday 10 am – 4 pm
