CALL TO YOUTH ARTISTS: Youth exhibit at Arts Canterbury Art Show at The Cashmere Club

We are pleased to announce we are now taking submissions for young artists to exhibit works at the 2026 Arts Canterbury Art Show at The Cashmere Club on the 14th – 16th of August.

This opportunity is open to any youth aged 10 – 18 years old. Young artists do not need to be members of Arts Canterbury to submit their work for this exhibition

There are TWO age categories for this exhibition opportunity: 

Entry fee is $5 per artist.

As there will be prizes awarded at the opening night for each age category we encourage each artist to submit their BEST artwork.
There is no theme. All mediums and styles are welcome.

SUBMISSIONS CLOSE DATE:  Submissions close at midnight Friday 31st July. If submissions exceed our capacity then we will be required to close off entries sooner so please do submit your work as soon as possible.
ARTISTS NOTIFIED OF ENTRY:  by Monday 3rd August
ARTWORK DELIVERY TIME:  Thursday 13th, 4pm – 7pm
OFFICIAL OPENING:  Friday 14th August, 7pm – 9.30pm
PUBLIC VIEWING TIMES:  Saturday 15th 10am – 6pm and Sunday 16th 10am – 4pm
COLLECTION OF UNSOLD ARTWORKS:  Sunday 16th August between 4.30pm – 5pm
