Eastside’s annual show for emerging and mid-career artists features six artists exhibiting recent work: Antoinette Wastney, Emma Velde-Schaffer, Estefania Mondaca, Hannah Martin, Duncan Nash and Ian Batchelor.

Duncan Nash, winner of the 2022 Eastside Development Award through Arts Canterbury, exhibits mixed media works that include metal, spraypaint and his signature tin cans. Ian Batchelor exhibits short films from his “Planet Mesa Project” alongside the sculptured characters he used in their creation. Hannah Martin exhibits mixed media collage. Both Antoinette Wastney and Estefania Mondaca exhibit oil paintings and Emma Velde-Schaffer exhibits large abstracts.

Opening Hours: Tuesday-Saturday. Galleries 12-5pm, late night Thursdays till 7pm.
