Rie Natalenko holds an MCA and a Doctor of Creative Arts in Screenwriting. An award-winning filmmaker and writer and the editor of Yarn Magazine (Australia), Rie celebrates creativity in all its diverse forms. She is also a passionate textile artist who spends her time weaving, felting, crocheting, and experimenting with other fibre arts.
Rie regularly teaches creative writing and runs classes and workshops in crochet and wet felting. She is a sought-after speaker on cruise ships, where she offers talks on art, history, and quirky, fun topics.
Rie loves any form of creative art and is always willing to give a new artisan experience a go.
